Dinias Timeline and Summary

Dinias bullies Merlin throughout childhood.
When Merlin returns to Maridunum, Dinias drinks with him at a pub and gives him information. He also gets Merlin kidnapped by Vortigern's men.
Vortigern's men give Dinias a bag of money for helping them find Merlin. Dinias is appalled.
The next time Merlin returns, Dinias is sober and very apologetic. They have a heart-to-heart, and Dinias declares his intention to join up with Ambrosius' army.
Dinias is as good as his word. He gathers up a bunch of men and fights for Ambrosius.
Dinias dies from battle wounds, but not until he's redeemed himself through good service.
