Character Analysis
Any time you see three women hanging out together in a work of literature, it's a good idea to ask yourself if they might represent the three Fates – the sisters in Greek mythology who spin, measure, and cut short the thread representing human life. Also known as the Moirae, these women are responsible for determining a child's destiny. Doesn't that sound just a teensy bit like the three Mora sisters, who spend their time worrying about people's destinies and the future and all that stuff?
