Though she took her life just a few years after the teenaged Slocum left the auto insurance agency, Virginia continues to haunt Slocum's sexual fantasies. Slocum's been with many women since he met Virginia, but he regrets more than anything that nothing past first base ever happened between them. Now he compares all other women to his fantasy of her.
