Gratuity "Tip" Tucci

Narrator, heroine, and all around superstar, Gratuity is most certainly our protagonist. Not only does she save the planet before even entering high school, she does it with style. Plus, she's the one we follow around throughout the book.

Sure her little Boov friend J.Lo is with her, but the story begins before we (or she) ever meets J.Lo, and it ends with Tip as well. If that's not enough, we also get the story from her perspective. J.Lo might fill her in on the history of the Boov, or how the Gorg dominate the universe, but Gratuity is the one who tells us how and when everything happens.
