Apparently, our friends across the pond are eliminating American Literature from the curriculum—or really one guy is trying to. This young author takes on Michael Gove, Secretary of State for Education in the United Kingdom, and answers his proposal with a well thought out and lucid argument for continuing to study American Lit.
